This project transformed a sloping backyard into a dynamic and inviting outdoor living space. The design incorporates a multi-level patio, strategically placed retaining walls, and thoughtful softscaping to create a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics.

The patio is designed with two main sections connected through a sloping walkway. The design maximizes the usable space and creates distinct areas for different activities. The main section, adjacent to the house in a rectangular design, provides an ideal space for dining and entertaining, while the connected circular space offers a more relaxed setting for lounging and enjoying the fire pit.
Retaining walls are strategically placed to define the two areas and provide a boundary to the expansive yard and field. The walls are constructed with textured blocks, adding depth and visual interest. They also double as seating walls, providing additional seating options.

A fire pit area is nestled within the circular patio area, creating a focal point for gatherings and extending the usability of the space into cooler evenings.

Steps connect the patio to the farmer’s porch, ensuring easy access and flow between the spaces. The steps blend seamlessly into the stone foundation covering.
